I Love Watching the Olympics

I love the music, the drama, the spirit of sportsmanship & humanity.  The joy of competition and spirit of the human body.

Found myself in Moscow and couldn't find the Olympics on the local TV channels.  Was craving the tennis, gymnastics, swimming, diving, and basically everything else.  I'd been to Rio once so couldn't ignore the location + the politics that come with Brazil ( Presidential impeachment, zika, economic crises ++).

When I left NY Michael Phelps just started swimming, Del Potro beat Djokovic while I was in the air (yay), and I had the uncomfortable position of asking Russian colleagues how they felt about the Russian track & field athletes being banned by the IOC (ok maybe I shouldn't have asked).  Russian colleagues told me to watch Match TV, concierge said it was Channel 34.  Found it watched it--only to see Judo was the featured sport that night.  Extremely boring, right next to the kayaking around the fake river.

Arrived in London and found Olympics on BBC.  Let's see what I can watch tonight.
