Calling all Julie Chans

I should have kept my maiden name, Tsang.  There are so few Tsangs but so many Chan's.  Being named Julie Chan is like being named John Smith.  There are just too many of us in the world.  It becomes a problem especially when I travel in Asia.

Once in a Singapore hotel, an envelope slipped under my door.  Another Julie Chan received some very important documents and I returned them to the front desk.  Somehow I got a suite--did they think I was the "other" Julie Chan?  Did they charge me her rate?  She was from a large multi-national company with budgets bigger than ours, I hope not.

When I got to my current job, I kept getting emails for another Julie Chan who was a lawyer & Chief of Staff to our Group President.  I got contracts, questions & requests for meetings with the Group President.  She's a very important Julie Chan.  Just yesterday, I got a Linked-in request for her from someone from the FDA. Gee, I should accept it. [insert grin]

There was another Julie Chan at my former job, only her name was Julie Chan-Moroney.  Somehow her mail and calls found their way to me too.  So I had this idea.  What if I created a reunion or gathering of all Julie Chans.  Could we break the Guiness Book of World records for gathering all Julie Chans?  Would you come?  How many Julie Chans could we get?
