I'm trying to look on the bright side. Here are my top ten thoughts to stay positive.
- You can work in yoga pants, all day & wear no make up
- You can save money by not using hair conditioner & no one will know/care
- Co-workers on video conferences won't know if you haven't taken a shower or used deodorant (but don't worry I do)
- You can do squats while on a conference call, and have a free workout
- When you take a walk around the block, you see the true beauty of the buds on trees and yellow forsythias & how delicate & wispy & green the buds on the trees are. And you really appreciate it.
- I haven't had this many clean clothes in a long time because I don't go out/wear "work" clothes but I keep wanting to wash the germs out of my clothes
- I've cleaned my shelves & thrown away expired food from 2017 and food we'd just never eat in baggies that are all cruddy and greasy
- My husband buys everything on sale/bulk so we will never run out of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, tissue ANNND....I found 8+ bottles of Lysol cleaner/bathroom cleaner and other anti-bac cleaners. I can make new friends with these common basement items.
- Distance learning, virtual workouts, working from home will be the norm
- Teachers and nurses will be more valued
What are your top ten?
