Love Potion

 I wish I had a genie.  I'd send the genie to every household in America, or better yet, every home in the world.  I'd have them go in to the heating system and blow a big whoosh of love potion.  Love potion that would get rid of all the hate that is going around now.  All the prejudice, ignorance, stupidity, and just plain hate.

The genie would spread the potion in the air system in apartment buildings or homes so people would inhale it, sniff it in, let it run through their veins and circulate in their heads.  Is the love potion pink or green?  I envision the pink potion to surround every available piece of space in the home, touch your skin, touch your furniture, touch your soul.  The love potion would transform you in to a human being who cared, who didn't know hate and with every breath you took get rid of all of the anxiety boiled up inside you and all others.  A calming effect around the world.

One night I couldn't sleep.  Like many of you, I haven't been able to sleep since this dumb-dumb became president.  My son told me I should get off twitter because I kept getting angrier and angrier by re-tweeting these unjust and plain stupid acts people would commit.  Angry that a Chinese old lady in Brooklyn was set on fire, angry that a Caucasian patient refused to be seen by a Chinese doctor, angry that there is a C word just like there is an N word.  What's wrong with people?  Then I thought to myself, calm down.  Think of something positive, something you can do.  That's when I heard the heat whoosh on......and imagined the genie in my hot air vent.

I'm writing letters to registered voters in Georgia.  I'm trying not to yell at the TV and/or ignorant people.  I'm trying to become the genie I want to send to everyone's home around the world (but what would I do for people who don't have a home?).  btw the love potion can be any color you want it to be, as long as you spread it.
