I can't believe its already been 4 months since we went to Colombia. I have to record my memories from the trip because it was one of the most memorable trips of my life. Perhaps it was because I was with hubby and son #2 (we missed son #1, sorry). Or perhaps because it was because I got to know a co-worker so much better. Really it was because I had no idea of what to expect and was blown away with the rich culture, life & outdoor sports activities we enjoyed.
I had a business meeting on a Thursday/Friday in Bogota and decided to stay for the weekend. Then I realized it was the week before Thanksgiving and I said to David, let's go to Bogota for the Mon/Tue/Wed before Thanksgiving. OK!!!!
Friday afternoon I met David and Jake for a walking tour:
Full Bogota Experience which met at the Continental Hotel Building in Candelaria. Lucky us, no one else was on the tour and it was a nice young guy who took us around, Ricardo. First stop was authentic Colombian coffee made in a special maker. So good!
