I haven't posted in awhile.  I feel like I have nothing to say, but then I have so much to say.  I started this blog in 2008 to chronicle a mother's feelings about sending her first child off to college.  Seven years later, both children are college graduates, so is this blog obsolete?  Should I close it down? Should I start a new one?  What would it be called, "Post-Modern Chinese-American Woman", "Senior or 50+ Chinese-American Woman", "The NEW Chinese-American Woman"?  How about "The Lady Tennis Player"?

I changed my tag-line awhile ago from "First Child Off to College?  Follow My Journey" to "Intuitive, Independent, Invincible, Frequent Traveler, Lover of Life".  Good branding, huh?  In trying to find my very first post, (don't know how to sort), I re-read so many of my entries--most of them great memories I'd forgotten.  What's been the theme?  Family stories, silly stories, stories that make me laugh.  I hope you continue to follow my journey as I move to this next stage of my life.  What will it bring?  "Empty-Nestor again not Modern, but old-fashioned Chinese-America Woman?

How about just happy Julie, this is my life.

There's a First For Everything

I attended the blogher conference on Friday, and its literally changed my life. Being surrounded by so many wonderful bloggers opened my eyes to something I wanted to try.

Join my journey as Gary goes off to BU. Equally as exciting, join my journey as I prepare to be a spectator at the 2008 Bejing Summer Olympic Games. There could be no more exciting experience.

124 days and counting.
