Strength in Numbers

For the record, I hate Donald Trump.  What a bigot.

I'm glad NBC, Telemundo, Macy's, Serta, Televisa, PGA and others have dropped him.  I can't help remember, though, a few years ago when Trump said something derogatory about Asians.  I remember signing a petition that I wouldn't shop at Macy's until they removed Trump's line from Macy's.  It never happened.
I also remember all those hateful things he said about a Korean lady.

Fast forward a few years later and everyone is quick to dump him after insulting Hispanics.  There are 54 million Hispanics in the US, while 16 million Asians.  On average, Asians have a higher HH income, $69,000 versus Hispanics at $42,700 (source:  Geoscape).

Do you think that companies like Macy's would have been quicker to dump Trump a few years ago had Asians been more vocal or been a larger group versus Hispanics today?  Do you think Asians are less vocal?

Stand up and be counted.  There is strength in numbers, and strength in buying power.
