Those of you in the business know what retargeting is. The act of serving someone an ad online based on a recent behavior or transaction. Here's my funny story. Everybody has one.
Recently David gave me some 20% off coupons and cash bucks for a retailer he goes to. I don't know why he keeps going there, they jack up the price so they can perpetually have a "buy one get one 50% off" sale, then free "bucks" when you come back next week. Not many remember to come back next week, but if you do, you end up buying more than your "bucks" were worth anyway. I hate it.
Desperate for some sports bras, I went with him to use the coupons. Every single thing in the store except my sports bra's were on sale. So I sucked it up and bought 2 full price. After furiously rummaging through the racks for my size, and desperately searching for the right type (low, medium, high support), then finding the right whale bones that go from one side to the other I finally found two in my size. I won't tell you what size. All I can tell you was I was sweating and pretty annoyed at finding all the 40DDD's and 32 A's gosh.....one false move sets the whole rack of bra's tumbling down or tangled like crazy. Not a good experience.
When we got to the cashier I experienced new heights of wanting to kill someone. "My God, these are expensive".....I think she was trying to tell me to wait til they are on sale. Too busy to come back, let me just get them now. "Wow, these are really expensive"..then a third time. Shut up already cashier lady. Sell me my stupid bra's.
Tried the bra's, didn't like them, there is no such thing as full support. David keeps getting emails with sales + came running to tell me bra's are on sale.............too late.............who cares. He clicked on one to show me and for the rest of the day kept getting bra ads................every site he went to, he kept getting bra ads. ha ha ha. Hope nobody profiles him.
