San Rafael Glaciers

My dream was to be on the cruise to the glaciers of Patagonia for my 50th birthday.  Well, the birthday came and went and I finally decided, its now or never.  We were there for David's birthday, ha ha.  I urgently wanted to go because I feel that man will destroy this earth and these glaciers will not be here in my children's time.
It was one of the best vacations of my life!  I marveled in the glory of these big blue creatures.  So still, austere, serene, and daunting.  I felt so privileged to be there.  Secluded.  For the 3 days we were on the water we only saw one other boat.  When I say secluded, in the middle of nowhere, I mean secluded in the middle of nowhere!  No internet or cell for the whole time either!
Below are the Brujo Glaciers - for us stop #2.  These were my favorites.  Actually now that I think of it, pix #1 of David below is at the Amelia Glacier (which you can't see, but you can see our boat - The Skorpios III in the background & the small boats used to take us to shore.
