Continuing on the theme of different versions of songs, here's another favorite (that will surely show my age). Which do you like better, slow or fast? Such a beautiful song, the lyrics are so heart-wrenching in the slow version, a staple of slow dances. The fast version is so upbeat, and.................do I dare say it, so Captain and Taneel? [Even though this isn't the Captian and Taneel version, which is a whole nother Captain Kangaroo Story.]
Listen to the harmony in the fast version......coma coma down doobey doo dooo. Instead of breaking up I wish that we were making up again........................So upbeat and happy, unlike the slow version which is full of soul and romantic.
How can two different versions of the same song be so different?
