Today I'm experimenting with music. I love this Gordon Lightfoot song, "If You Could Read My Mind". His voice is so haunting and the words are so beautiful, and I love the story-telling nature of it. Listen carefully to the lyrics and you will find yourself singing it over and over again. You can also pretend you are the heroine.
However, I equally love the Viola Wills DISCO version. I even bought the album when I was young (I wonder if I still have it). How can one song be sung so differently, yet so well? Evoke so much emotion from both, but in two different worlds. I remember dancing to it at the Palladium, The Underground, Studio 54, where else?
