Hurrican Sandy - Day 6

Power beginning to come back to friends and family in NJ & NYC.  Thank goodness.

Yesterday, again I watched Channel 7 Eyewitness news, I'm very happy they stream their news live at 4:30, 5:00 & 5:30.  They also streamed the 6:00 news too.  Pretty well rounded stories covering all places, NJ, Staten Island, Manhattan, Jersey Shore, Breezy Point, etc.

I tried to stream the Diane Sawyer National News but you had to download a player, etc.  I tried but it started installing all these other things I don't want and gave up.  Then I got the "you have to be an administrator to install this" notice.  How annoying.  My homepage is gone, and now I get Yahoo Search, which I don't want and cannot uninstall.

Anyway felt technologically illiterate for not being able to watch Diane Sawyer--or maybe ABC doesn't offer it.  Eyewitness news had a very easy way to watch, just click here, why can't all newscasts have that?  I even went to hulu and youtube but couldn't get it.

NBC Nightly News didn't seem so negative this time.  Seemed like they were trying to get back to the election as soon as possible.  Watched the Bruce Springsteen benefit and it was good.  Only Steven Tyler was awful -- looked like it was painful for him to sing and they had to slow down the tempo for him.  But I admire them all so for doing that.  Especially Christina Aguilera - she was the only woman and I tuned in just as she was ending.  Jimmy Fallon should stick to comedy.
