Friends, I keep forgetting, when I include a video it doesn't automatically show up if you subscribe to my blog. Therefore please click through to the actual blog here, http://modernchineseamericanwoman.blogspot.com/

What was the happiest day of your life? I told my son this would be one of the happiest days of my life--to see penguins up close in their natural habitat. He said being with your sons, such as the day they were born should be the happiest day of your life. Oh. Sorry.
Look at this video, I took a million pix and video's to try and get that perfect one! Only they are all perfect. Had to delete some where the penguins eyes were closed, blinked, or the close-up wasn't perfect (penguins looked fat, etc) but I smile every time I see these pix!
Listen to how windy it is-so barren. I love it, I was one with nature. There were over 70,000 pairs of penguins (not including children) as they nest here before they migrate.
While it was one of the happiest days of my life David said it was the worse day of his life. He and several other passengers on the 15 people boat got sea sick. It was a 45 minute ride through the rough ocean. Luckily it was only a one hour island visit. I wish it was longer though.
