The Funicular is Not Working

I couldn't wait to go to Lake Cuomo (one hour by train from Milan after two friends raved about it (Kate and Vince).
We started out with really bad luck--pouring rain, got all wet, missed two trains, lost David for a second in the train station.............
When we got there magically it stopped raining-----but one of the main attractions-the funicular (trolley car) straight up the mountain with a beautiful view---was down for repair as we were there before the summer season. We took the bus up (winding road-holy cow) and searched for the restaurant Bella Vista which Kate recommended. We couldn't find it and everything was closed since it was around 2:30 and it was a weekday before the tourist season. So we ate in the closest restaurant-a small one with a beautiful view. Another couple was arranging their wedding dinner there (a German couple), so we got to hear all their music and desert, wine choices.

As we paid, we looked at the bill and low and behold--there we were in the restaurant Bella Vista. Good food! Great view....then on to the ferry--the waitress recommended a nice town to stop in. I think it was called Agregnon--first picture above with David in town. You can take the ferry to the little old towns and enjoy the lake scenery. Just beautiful and very serene.
