Modern Chinese-American Woman: The Most Beautiful Place on Earth: Wengen, or Grutschalp, or Murren? OR.....

I couldn't wait to show Judy and Ken the most beautiful place on earth.

So beautiful, its the only place I chose to return to in Switzerland (after all there's so many places to see so little time).

Only problem--- the place I remembered wasn't Wengen, it was Murren!!!!😁Hotel receptionist said you can only get to Wengen by train, so you must have been to Grutschalp. We took the cable car to Grutschalp and walked to Murren (a little over an hour).

Hubby kept saying he was cold & hopped in the train. He rode back & forth 2x before meeting us in Murren.

I’ve told so many people that Wengen is the most beautiful place in earth (yes it is beautiful), & can’t believe I got the town wrong. 🤪

Mt. Pilatus was closed due to weather so we went to Mt. Titlis with the revolving cable cars. We were above the clouds. It was so exciting.

They were so cold

Ticket included the chairlift which had a tremendous view. So exhilarating!

On our last night we stumbled into a Michelin star restaurant just because it was close to our hotel. Had a 5 course tasting menu and because it was Easter they had a special baby goat called “gitsi”. Course before it was “best of gitsi” which were the liver, heart, innards of the goat and was delicious.

Best was the owners wife gave us some good advice for the next day (everything closed on Easter) up on Mt. Riggi. She recommended a mountain restaurant, that was open with local food. We had the Easter special, pork lion outside with a beautiful view!
