Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs

All  together we saw 32 lions, 1 leopard, 1 cheetah.  Few pictures of the lions and leopards as they were always too far away.

After 1 and a half hours in to a 2 hour night game drive we saw 2 lions casually walking down the road.  We thought for sure we'd go home with nothing, lights in the bushes, hoping, wishing...And then it happened.  I wasn't scared, I was in awe!

Our first lions in the day time!  Hhhmmm, my first thought was we are on a safari for seniors.  I thought we'd see some action, not sleeping.  Are they dead?  Tons of jeeps drove right up to see the sleeping lions and all I could think was "how boring".  Hope it gets livelier.

Rest of the ladies were tired so I went out with the "Shower Family".  We saw a cheetah!  Very rare.  So funny, we'd search and search for hours and the rarest animals were always just sitting out in the sun.
