At Gary's HS Graduation 3 years ago, I was frustrated because I could not get any pictures of Gary. We went an hour before the graduation was to start and the only seats left were in the 2nd to last row. Literally.
This time I got a lot smarter. Made sure I had an aisle seat. Ran up the hill as the bagpipes came marching in. I got sentimental when I heard the GL Band (who wins a lot of Marching Band competitions) play their theme song, as I realized I wouldn't be hearing it anytime soon again. Charged right up to Jake as he was in line to march in. Chased the procession so I could be right on the sidelines as he marched in, then again, went right up to the front as he was to receive his diploma.
Lots of great pictures this time. I didn't have to push any of the mothers out of the way.
