It all began with a rainbow. David and I both arrived separately for our first vacation together in a long time. Of course as we went out for dinner it poured. Not just rained but poured. We wondered why the streets were empty as we looked for a restaurant to eat.
We finally went in to one of the street cafes on the sidewalk. We didn't know everyone ate beginning at 8pm--it was 7;30, so the menu only included finger food like prosciutto and cheese which we happily had with wine. I wanted pasta so was disappointed, but what a pleasant surprise, great food -- only we woke up the next day with a sodium hang over.
