Met my friend Kate two times.
The first time she took me to an extravagant restaurant called the Landau in the Langham hotel. posh........I had partridge because I thought it would be it would be like squab. It was more like Cornish hen.
Today I had to go way out to Maidenhead where our offices are (like going from NY Penn station to Berkeley Heights, NJ--50 min train ride, after tube). I was back at the hotel at 6pm. Since my hotel is right in the heart of the city-Leicesters Square, we went to some big time famous sites in the heart of the city - Portrait Gallery and had a drink at the top bar with a view of overlooking Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, House of Parliament. Then we took a bus to St. Paul's Cathedral (where Diana and Charles were married), crossed the Millennium Bridge, and had dinner at the restaurant at Tate Modern with a beautiful view of the city.
All in 3 hours-what a great time on my last night in London.
I continue to be the luckiest girl on earth for having friends in every city on earth.
