Most of you know I love to play tennis. Except I stink at the net. One day I missed 3+ balls at the net, easy ones. Always thought I had poor hand-eye coordination, but I realized I couldn't see. Need new glasses. This presents a problem.
I wear one contact for reading and one for distance (think its called monotone). Its not perfect, I feel I can never see anything. Can't see the computer monitor, can't read the newspaper, really can't see the excel spreadsheets, can see far but not clearly. I hate the feel of glasses on my nose. Its annoying. Worst yet, glasses never stay clean, they always have specs on them no matter how much you clean them. Don't like to see people with white dots on them.
On a recent eye dr. visit, the doctor gave me a prescription for every permutation possible--which I am intending to get:
glasses for distance
glasses for monotone
contacts for distance
contacts for monotone
prescription sunglasses for distance
plain sunglasses to be worn with contacts for distance or contacts for monotone
reading glasses for contacts for distance
no glasses, or contacts, walk around not seeing anything
