Surreal

Week One on New Job went really smooth. Love my boss and love the people. I came in as a Pfizer employee while my group remain Legacy Wyeth employee's so kind of strange. The take-over in action--yes, transition at its best.

The commute is 20 minutes, yes, 20 minutes. Local roads, school buses, garbage trucks, deer, yes its 20 minutes. Driving home the other day, music in my ears, strip malls on the right, hazy humid heat in my face. I feel like I'm floating and its not me in the drivers seat. I'm having an outer body experience rising through the air, windows open, wearing a suit. There are no people on the road, but if there were, they'd look at me and say who is that woman floating in the air, floating in her car? Why is she driving in the daylight? Why is she so happy? I pretend I am one of them looking at me as I drive by, who is that woman in the blue suit and why is she floating? Is she a real person, or is she a ghost of an employee? I look at the woman and can't believe its me. Does she really have a dream job or is this a dream? Yes this really is my new life and I still can't believe it.
