Columbus Day

Gary called to say he wants to come home for the 3 day Columbus Day Weekend. Surprise, shock, yes!! oh no, I'll be in Sao Paulo. But wait, won't we see you that Friday at Parents Weekend? Isn't it a waste to come home? Aren't you making friends and settling in? Why do you want to come home?
We fear the worse, but think too much of these things. Friends are coming home and the Bolt bus is just too convenient......why not. SURE, I'd love to see you but my heart sinks when I realize I won't be here.

Worse yet, David bought a huge bench press weight set and put it in Gary's room---- moved Gary's bed up to Jake's room. What insult! "My bedroom's gone" he's thinking. If this stupid weight set ever gets set up, I'll be sure to use it, all $240 what a waste of money.

Not to worry, I called Gary and he was at Quiznos with his friends--couldn't talk. Museum of Fine Arts was free for students that day and he went with friends. How wonderful!
